BNV : শমূয়েল ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বলল, “তোমরা যা চেয়েছিলে আমি তার সবই করেছি| আমি তোমাদের জন্য একজন রাজা এনে দিয়েছি|
KJV : And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.
YLT : And Samuel saith unto all Israel, `Lo, I have hearkened to your voice, to all that ye said to me, and I cause to reign over you a king,
RV : And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.
RSV : And Samuel said to all Israel, "Behold, I have hearkened to your voice in all that you have said to me, and have made a king over you.
ASV : And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.
ESV : And Samuel said to all Israel, "Behold, I have obeyed your voice in all that you have said to me and have made a king over you.
ERVEN : Samuel said to all Israel: "I have done everything you wanted me to do. I have put a king over you.

BNV : তোমাদের নেতৃত্ব দেবার জন্য এখন তোমরা একজন রাজা পেয়ে গেছ| আমি বৃদ্ধ হয়েছি; কিন্তু আমার পুত্ররা তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকবে| আমি সেই ছোটবেলা থেকে তোমাদের নেতা হয়ে আছি|
KJV : And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons [are] with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
YLT : and now, lo, the king is walking habitually before you, and I have become aged and gray-headed, and my sons, lo, they [are] with you, and I have walked habitually before you from my youth till this day.
RV : And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and gray-headed; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my youth unto this day.
RSV : And now, behold, the king walks before you; and I am old and gray, and behold, my sons are with you; and I have walked before you from my youth until this day.

ERVEN : Now you have a king to lead you. I am old and gray, but my sons are here with you. I have been your leader since I was young.

BNV : আমাকে তো তোমরা জানো| যদি আমি কোন অন্যায় করে থাকি তাহলে নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা সে কথা প্রভুর সামনে এবং মনোনীত রাজার সামনে বলবে| আমি কা কারো গাধা বা গরু চুরি করেছি? আমি কি কাউকে আঘাত করেছি বা ঠকিযেছি? আমি কি কারো দোষ ত্রুটি অবজ্ঞা করবার জন্য ঘুষ নিয়েছি? যদি তা করে থাকি তবে আমি নিশ্চয়ই সেই অন্যাযের প্রাযশ্চিত্ত করব|”
KJV : Behold, here I [am:] witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received [any] bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
YLT : `Lo, here [am] I; testify against me, over-against Jehovah, and over-against His anointed; whose ox have I taken, and whose ass have I taken, and whom have I oppressed; whom have I bruised, and of whose hand have I taken a ransom, and hide mine eyes with it? -- and I restore to you.`
RV : Here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I taken a ransom to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

ESV : Here I am; testify against me before the LORD and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Or whose donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to blind my eyes with it? Testify against me and I will restore it to you."
ERVEN : Here I am. If I have done anything wrong, you must tell these things to the Lord and his chosen king. Did I steal anyone's cow or donkey? Did I hurt or cheat anyone? Did I ever take money, or even a pair of sandals, to do something wrong? If I did any of these things, I will make it right."

BNV : ইস্রাযেলবাসীরা বলল, “না আপনি কখনোই কোন অন্যায় করেন নি| আপনি কখনই আমাদের ঠকান নি বা কোন কিছু নিয়ে যান নি!”
KJV : And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand.
YLT : And they say, `Thou hast not oppressed us, nor hast thou crushed us, nor hast thou taken from the hand of any one anything.`
RV : And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken aught of any man-s hand.
RSV : They said, "You have not defrauded us or oppressed us or taken anything from any man's hand."
ASV : And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken aught of any mans hand.
ESV : They said, "You have not defrauded us or oppressed us or taken anything from any man's hand."
ERVEN : The Israelites answered, "No, you never did anything bad to us. You never cheated us or took things from us."

BNV : শমূয়েল বলল, “আজ প্রভু আর তাঁর মনোনীত রাজা সাক্ষী| তোমরা যা বললে তাঁরা সবই শুনেছেন| তাঁরা জানলেন তোমরা আমার কোন দোষ পাও নি|” সকলে বলল, “হ্যাঁ, প্রভুই সাক্ষী!”
KJV : And he said unto them, The LORD [is] witness against you, and his anointed [is] witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, [He is] witness.
YLT : And he saith unto them, `A witness [is] Jehovah against you: and a witness [is] His anointed this day, that ye have not found anything in my hand;` and they say, `A witness.`
RV : And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found aught in my hand. And they said, He is witness.
RSV : And he said to them, "The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything in my hand." And they said, "He is witness."

ERVEN : Samuel said to the Israelites, "The Lord and his chosen king are witnesses today. They heard what you said. They know that you could find nothing wrong with me." The people answered, "Yes, the Lord is our witness!"

BNV : শমূয়েল বলল, “যা যা হয়েছে প্রভু সবই দেখেছেন| তিনিই মোশি এবং হারোণকে মনোনীত করেছিলেন| তিনিই তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মিশর থেকে এনেছিলেন|
KJV : And Samuel said unto the people, [It is] the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
YLT : And Samuel saith unto the people, `Jehovah -- He who made Moses and Aaron, and who brought up your fathers out of the land of Egypt!
RV : And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that appointed Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
RSV : And Samuel said to the people, "The LORD is witness, who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
ASV : And Samuel said unto the people, It is Jehovah that appointed Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
ESV : And Samuel said to the people, "The LORD is witness, who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
ERVEN : Then Samuel said to the people, "The Lord has seen what happened. The Lord is the one who chose Moses and Aaron and brought your ancestors out of Egypt.

BNV : এবার এখানে দাঁড়াও এবং ঈশ্বর তোমাদের জন্যে ও তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের জন্য কি কি ভালো জিনিস করেছিলেন সে সম্বন্ধে শোন|
KJV : Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
YLT : and, now, station yourselves, and I judge you before Jehovah, with all the righteous acts of Jehovah, which He did with you, and with your fathers.
RV : Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before the LORD concerning all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
RSV : Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before the LORD concerning all the saving deeds of the LORD which he performed for you and for your fathers.
ASV : Now therefore stand still, that I may plead with you before Jehovah concerning all the righteous acts of Jehovah, which he did to you and to your fathers.

ERVEN : Now, stand there, and I will tell you about the good things the Lord did for you and your ancestors.

BNV : যাকোব মিশরে গিয়েছিল| পরবর্তীকালে মিশরীয়রা তার উত্তরপুরুষদের জীবন অতিষ্ঠ করে দিয়েছিল| তাই তারা প্রভুর কাছে সাহায্যের জন্য প্রার্থনা করেছিল| তখন প্রভু মোশি আর হারোণকে পাঠিয়েছিলেন| তারা তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মিশর থেকে নিয়ে এসেছিল এবং এই জায়গায় বাস করবার জন্য নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিল|
KJV : When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
YLT : `When Jacob hath come in to Egypt, and your fathers cry unto Jehovah, then Jehovah sendeth Moses and Aaron, and they bring out your fathers from Egypt, and cause them to dwell in this place,

ERVEN : "Jacob went to Egypt. Later, the Egyptians made life hard for his descendants. So they cried to the Lord for help. The Lord sent Moses and Aaron, and they took your ancestors out of Egypt and led them to live in this place.

BNV : “কিন্তু তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা তাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বরের কথা ভুলে গেল| ফলে ঈশ্বর তাদের সীষরার ক্রীতদাস করে দিলেন| সীষরা ছিল হাত্‌সোরের সৈন্যদের অধিনাযক| তারপর প্রভু তাদের পলেষ্টীয় আর মোয়াবের রাজার ক্রীতদাস করে দিলেন| তারা সবাই তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করেছিল|
KJV : And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.
YLT : and they forget Jehovah their God, and He selleth them into the hand of Sisera, head of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fight against them,
RV : But they forgat the LORD their God, and he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.
RSV : But they forgot the LORD their God; and he sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Jabin king of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.

ESV : But they forgot the LORD their God. And he sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab. And they fought against them.
ERVEN : "But your ancestors forgot the Lord their God. So he let them become the slaves of Sisera, the commander of the army at Hazor. Then the Lord let them become the slaves of the Philistines and the king of Moab. They all fought against your ancestors.

BNV : তখন পূর্বপুরুষরা প্রভুর কাছে সাহায্য চেয়েছিল| তারা বলেছিল, ‘আমরা পাপ করেছি| আমরা প্রভুকে ত্যাগ করে বাল এবং অষ্টারোতের মূর্ত্তির পূজা করেছি; কিন্তু আজ শত্রুদের হাত থেকে আমাদের বাঁচাও| আমরা তোমারই সেবা করব|’
KJV : And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.
YLT : and they cry unto Jehovah, and say, We have sinned, because we have forsaken Jehovah, and serve the Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and now, deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we serve Thee.
RV : And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served the Baalim and the Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.

ESV : And they cried out to the LORD and said, 'We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD and have served the Baals and the Ashtaroth. But now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, that we may serve you.'
ERVEN : But your ancestors cried to the Lord for help. They said, 'We have sinned. We left the Lord, and we served the false gods Baal and Ashtoreth. But now save us from our enemies, and we will serve you.'

BNV : “তখন প্রভু য়িরুব্বাল (গিদিযন), বরাক, য়িপ্তহ এবং শমূয়েলকে পাঠালেন| প্রভু, তোমাদের চারপাশের শত্রুদের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করলেন| তোমরা নিরাপদে বাস করছিলে|
KJV : And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.
YLT : `And Jehovah sendeth Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivereth you out of the hand of your enemies round about, and ye dwell confidently.
RV : And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled in safety.
RSV : And the LORD sent Jerubbaal and Barak, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side; and you dwelt in safety.

ESV : And the LORD sent Jerubbaal and Barak and Jephthah and Samuel and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you lived in safety.
ERVEN : "So the Lord sent Jerub Baal (Gideon), Barak, Jephthah, and Samuel. He saved you from your enemies around you, and you lived in safety.

BNV : কিন্তু তারপর তোমরা দেখলে অম্মোনদের রাজা নাহশ তোমাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করতে আসছে| অমনি বলে উঠলে, ‘না, আমরা একজন রাজা চাই যে আমাদের শাসন করবে!’ প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর ইতিমধ্যেই তোমাদের রাজা থাকা সত্ত্বেও তোমরা সেটা বলেছিলে|
KJV : And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God [was] your king.
YLT : `And ye see that Nahash king of the Bene-Ammon hath come against you, and ye say to me, Nay, but a king doth reign over us; and Jehovah your God [is] your king!
RV : And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay, but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.
RSV : And when you saw that Nahash the king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, `No, but a king shall reign over us,' when the LORD your God was your king.
ASV : And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay, but a king shall reign over us; when Jehovah your God was your king.
ESV : And when you saw that Nahash the king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, 'No, but a king shall reign over us,' when the LORD your God was your king.
ERVEN : But then you saw King Nahash of the Ammonites coming to fight against you. You said, 'No, we want a king to rule over us!' You said that, even though the Lord your God was already your king.

BNV : এখন তোমরা তোমাদের ইচ্ছে ও পছন্দ অনুযায়ীএকজন রাজা পেয়েছ| প্রভু তাকেই তোমাদের শাসন করার ভার দিয়েছেন|
KJV : Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, [and] whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
YLT : And, now, lo, the king whom ye have chosen -- whom ye have asked! and lo, Jehovah hath placed over you a king.
RV : Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have asked for: and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
RSV : And now behold the king whom you have chosen, for whom you have asked; behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

ERVEN : Now, here is the king you chose. The Lord put this king over you.

BNV : তোমাদের প্রভুকে ভয় ও সম্মান করে চলা উচিত্‌| তোমরা অবশ্যই তাঁর সেবা করবে ও তাঁর আজ্ঞা মেনে চলবে| তোমরা তাঁর বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করবে না| তোমরা সবাই আর তোমাদের রাজা অবশ্যই তোমাদের প্রভু ও ঈশ্বরের অনুগত থাকবে| তাহলেই তিনি তোমাদের রক্ষ করবেন|
KJV : If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
YLT : `If ye fear Jehovah, and have served Him, and hearkened to His voice, then ye do not provoke the mouth of Jehovah, and ye have been -- both ye and the king who hath reigned over you -- after Jehovah your God.
RV : If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and hearken unto his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and both ye and also the king that reigneth over you be followers of the LORD your God, {cf15i well}:
RSV : If you will fear the LORD and serve him and hearken to his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God, it will be well;
ASV : If ye will fear Jehovah, and serve him, and hearken unto his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, and both ye and also the king that reigneth over you be followers of Jehovah your God, well:
ESV : If you will fear the LORD and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God, it will be well.
ERVEN : You must fear and respect the Lord. You must serve him and obey his commands. You must not turn against him. You and the king ruling over you must follow the Lord your God. If you do, God will save you.

BNV : কিন্তু তাঁর আদেশ অমান্য করলে অথবা তাঁর বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করলে তিনি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে যাবেন, যেমন তিনি তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের বিরুদ্ধে গিয়েছিলেন|
KJV : But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as [it was] against your fathers.
YLT : `And if ye do not hearken to the voice of Jehovah -- then ye have provoked the mouth of Jehovah, and the hand of Jehovah hath been against you, and against your fathers.
RV : but if ye will not hearken unto the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
RSV : but if you will not hearken to the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king.
ASV : but if ye will not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah, but rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, then will the hand of Jehovah be against you, as it was against your fathers.
ESV : But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king.
ERVEN : But if you don't obey the Lord, and if you turn against him, he will be against you. The Lord will destroy you and your king.

BNV : “এখন স্থির হয়ে দাঁড়াও এবং প্রভু তোমাদের চোখের সামনে যে সব মহান জিনিসগুলি করবেন তা দেখো|
KJV : Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
YLT : `Also now, station yourselves and see this great thing which Jehovah is doing before your eyes;

BNV : এখন গম তোলবার সময়| প্রভুর কাছে আমি প্রার্থনা করব বজ্র আর বৃষ্টির জন্য| তখনই বুঝতে পারবে রাজা চাইতে গিয়ে প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে তোমরা কি অন্যায় করেছ|”
KJV : [Is it] not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness [is] great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
YLT : is it not wheat-harvest to-day? I call unto Jehovah, and He doth give voices and rain; and know ye and see that your evil is great which ye have done in the eyes of Jehovah, to ask for you a king.`
RV : Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call unto the LORD, that he may send thunder and rain; and ye shall know and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
RSV : Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call upon the LORD, that he may send thunder and rain; and you shall know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking for yourselves a king."

ERVEN : Now is the time of the wheat harvest. I will pray to the Lord and ask him to send thunder and rain. Then you will know you did a very bad thing against the Lord when you asked for a king."

BNV : তারা সবাই শমূয়েলকে বলল, “তোমার প্রভু ঈশ্বরের কাছে তুমি আমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করো| আমরা তোমার ভৃত্য| আমরা যেন মারা না পড়ি| আমরা অনেকবার পাপ করেছি| এবার আবার আমরা রাজা চেয়ে পাপের বোঝা বাড়ালাম|”
KJV : And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins [this] evil, to ask us a king.

BNV : শমূয়েল উত্তরে বলল, “ভয় পেও না| এটা সত্যি, তোমরা এসব অন্যায় করেছিলে| কিন্তু প্রভুর অনুসরণ করে চলো, থেমো না| মনপ্রাণ দিয়ে তোমরা তাঁর সেবা করবে|

BNV : “কিন্তু প্রভু কখনও তাঁর লোকদের ছেড়ে যান না| তোমাদের তাঁর আপনজন করে নিয়ে তিনি সন্তুষ্ট আছেন| তাই তাঁর মহানামের গুনে কখনই তিনি তোমাদের ছেড়ে যাবেন না|
KJV : For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

BNV : আমার দিক থেকে বলতে পারি, আমি সবসময় তোমাদের হয়ে প্রার্থনা করব| প্রার্থনা বন্ধ করলে আমি প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করব| আমি তোমাদের সত্য পথের বিষযে শিক্ষা দিয়ে যাব যেন তোমরা সত্‌ভাবে জীবনযাপন করতে পার|
KJV : Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

BNV : তবে তোমরা অবশ্যই প্রভুকে সম্মান করবে| তোমাদের জন্যে তিনি যে সব মহত্‌ কর্ম করেছেন সেগুলো মনে রাখবে|
